Admission into ABSU is highly competitive, with candidates required to meet the approved JAMB cut-off mark and other admission requirements before participating in the university’s screening exercise.
To further assess candidates seeking undergraduate admission, the university conducts the ABSU Post UTME screening examination, which is usually conducted using a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.
Candidates are expected to complete all registration requirements and present the necessary screening documents as specified by the university during the admission exercise.
The ABSU Post UTME examination format is scored over a maximum of 100 marks. The examination typically consists of between 40 and 100 multiple-choice questions, depending on the programme and admission session. Candidates are usually given between 30 and 45 minutes to complete the examination.
The examination mainly contains multiple-choice questions drawn from the subjects relevant to the candidate’s intended course of study and UTME subject combination. Candidates are expected to answer questions accurately within the allotted time.
