The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), popularly known by its slogan “Better By Far”, was established in 1975 and is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s most sought-after federal universities. Located in Ilorin, Kwara State, the university has built a strong reputation for academic excellence, stable academic calendars, research, innovation, and quality education across various disciplines. Admission into UNILORIN is highly competitive, with thousands of candidates applying yearly through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB. The UNILORIN Post UTME examination format is conducted physically using a Computer-Based Test (CBT) system. Candidates are required to be physically present at the university or designated screening centers for the examination. The screening exercise consists of 50 questions, which include English Language, Mathematics, and Current Affairs/General Knowledge regardless of the candidate’s course of study. The examination mainly consists of multiple-choice questions, and candidates are expected to answer accurately within the allotted time (30 minutes).
