The management has officially announced the commencement of sales of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) e-PIN for the 2026 examination cycle. The sale of the e-PIN began on Monday, 19 January 2026, and is scheduled to end on Thursday, 26 February 2026.

The UTME e-PIN is a compulsory requirement for all candidates intending to register for the 2026 UTME. Candidates must obtain a valid e-PIN from approved sales channels before proceeding to any accredited registration centre to complete their registration. Registration cannot be initiated without the e-PIN.

Prospective candidates are advised to verify the accuracy of their personal details, including full name, date of birth, and National Identification Number (NIN), before purchasing the e-PIN. Errors in candidate information may affect the registration process, examination participation, or subsequent admission procedures.



Candidates should also take note of the eligibility guidelines for the 2026 UTME. While candidates below the age of sixteen may be allowed to participate under specific conditions, all applicants are expected to fully comply with the stated requirements before completing registration.

To avoid fraud and invalid registrations, candidates are strongly advised to purchase the e-PIN only from officially approved outlets. Early purchase and registration are recommended to prevent delays, overcrowding at registration centres, and last-minute complications as the closing date approaches.
