The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has officially commenced applications for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the institution.

The university invites candidates who selected UNICAL as their first-choice institution, as well as those willing to change to UNICAL, to apply for the online screening exercise.

Minimum UTME Cut-Off Mark

- General Cut-Off Mark: 150

Eligibility Requirements

- Candidates who selected UNICAL as First Choice and scored at least 150 in UTME.
- Candidates who did not choose UNICAL but are willing to change institution to UNICAL.
- Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the university.
- Candidates must provide a valid email address and active phone number during registration.

Important Information
- Screening registration is completely online.
- The university has discontinued the use of E-transact and scratch card PINs.
- Medicine and Surgery applicants must present O'Level results in one sitting only.
- Candidates who provide false information on UTME scores, O'Level grades, or state of origin will be automatically disqualified.
- The university will not be responsible for failed applications resulting from invalid email addresses or phone numbers.

Application Procedure

1. Visit the portal
2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number for verification.
3. Complete the registration form.
4. Make payment of ₦2,000 online.
5. Submit the application.
6. Print the completed registration slip.
