The exercise will be faculty-based and will hold from Monday, 17th November to Friday, 28th November 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
This announcement provides detailed instructions to ensure a smooth registration process for all candidates. Below is a breakdown of the stages and requirements:
Stage 1: Toxicology Screening
All candidates must make payment for the mandatory toxicology test and report to the designated venue. Only candidates who pass the test and present a copy of the result will be allowed to proceed with registration. Candidates who fail the test will have their admission withdrawn.
Stage 2: Registration Appointment
Successful candidates should book their registration appointments via the UNILAG student portal:
- Log in at http://studentportal.unilag.edu.ng/
using your JAMB Registration number and surname.
- Under “Appointment,” select “New Appointment” and choose your Faculty and session.
- Print your Appointment/Booking Slip and present it at the registration venue.
- It is mandatory to present the Appointment Slip at the venue.
Stage 3: Uploading of Documents
Candidates must complete the Bio-data Form and upload the following documents:
- JAMB Admission Letter
- Jamb Result slip
- O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) or online version of the certificate
- Secondary School Testimonial
- Previous Degree Certificate (for Direct Entry candidates)
- Birth Certificate
- Letter of Reference from a reputable Clergyman, Imam, Lawyer, or Senior Civil Servant
- State of Origin Certificate

Stage 4: Screening at Faculty
On the day of your appointment, candidates must submit two copies of: - Toxicology result
- Screening Form
- JAMB Acknowledgement Slip (Direct Entry only)
- UTME and POST-UTME Result Slips
- JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc Result Slips (Direct Entry only)
- O’Level Certificates
- Letter of Reference
- Birth Certificate or Sworn Declaration of Age
- Testimonial
- State of Origin Certificate
- Passport Photographs (12 copies)
Original copies of all credentials must be presented for verification.
Stage 5: Payment of Fees
Candidates should generate the Payment Advice immediately after registration and complete payment either at any commercial bank or via the online platform.
Stage 6: Faculty/Departmental Registration
After fee payment, candidates should report to their Faculty/Department to finalize registration and submit remaining documentation.
Important Notices
The exercise will take place at the various Faculties on the main campus.
Impersonation is a serious offence and will lead to forfeiture of admission and possible police involvement.
The University maintains zero tolerance for drug use. Admission will be withdrawn for candidates who test positive. Dates for matriculation and orientation will be announced separately.
