Augustine University Ilara, AUI post UTME /admission screening application form for the 2022/2023 academic session is now on sale.



The management of the Augustine University, Ilara is inviting applications from well-qualified candidates sat for the [[year]] UTME for admission into its degree programmes on a full-time basis in the Colleges and Departments of the University for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

Augustine University Admission General Requirements


Prospective candidates seeking admission into Augustine University must not be less than 16 years of age by October of Admission year. Admission is open to all, irrespective of gender, race, or religion. Prospective candidates would need to satisfy the following general requirements before they are offered admission into the University:

a. All admissions into the University shall be through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation’s Board (JAMB)
b. For admission into 100 level (UTME), candidates must:
  • Obtain a minimum of five (5) Ordinary level credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics (applicable in specified programmes)at not more than 2 sittings;
  • Candidates must also pass the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as specified by JAMB in relevant subjects and satisfy the University requirements in a Post-UTME screening exercise for the Course of study.

c. For admission to 200 level (Direct Entry), candidates should (in addition to five (5) Ordinary level credit passes stated above, obtain at least two (2) A’ level (or its equivalent) full passes in relevant subjects, or possess NCE, or a good first degree in another field as the case may be.
d. All candidates seeking admission into the University must meet the SSCE/NECO or its equivalent basic requirements.

3 PHILOSOPHY Two A’level passes in any relevant subjects.NCE & Diploma with credit passes in relevant subjects in addition to five (5 Credits in SSCE (or its equivalent) Five (5) O’Level credits in SSCE(or its equivalent) in English Language and four other relevant subjects English Language and any other three Arts subjects An O’level Pass in Mathematics is acceptable
4 ECONOMICS Two A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agric Science, Accounting, Bus. Management, History and Government 5 O’Level credits in SSCE(or its equivalent) in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other arts or social science subjects English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any of Government, History,Literature-in-English, French and CRS/IRS AUI will accept Commerce or Fianacial Accounting as UTME Subjects
5 ACCOUNTING Two A’ level passes including Economics Five (5) O’Level credits in SSCE(or its equivalent) including English Language, Mathematics, Economics English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject
6 BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION Two A’level passes including Economics 5 O’Level credits in SSCE(or its equivalent) including English, Mathematics,Economics English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject
7 BANKING AND FINANCE Two A’ level passes in Accounting or Economics and one other subject. OR NCE with passes at merit level in relevant subject. OR Foundation International exam such as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA, GPFA Five (5) O’Level credits in SSCE(or its equivalent) including English Language, Mathematics, Economics English Language, Mathematics ,one Social Science subject and any other subject
8 MASS COMMUNICATION Two ‘A’ level passes in Literature in English, Economics or Government and any other Art or Social Science subjects. Credit passes in NCE,ND and JUPEB are allowed Five ‘O’ level credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) to include English Language, Literature in English and Government plus at least a pass in Mathematics. English Language, Government and any other subjects from Social Sciences and Arts An O’level Pass in Mathematics is acceptable
9 POLITICAL SCIENCE Two ‘A’ level passes in Government or History and any other Social Science subject.Credit passes in NCE,ND and JUPEB are allowed. Five ‘O’ level credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in Government or History, English Language and two other Arts or Social Science subject plus at least a pass in Mathematics. English Language, Government and any other two subjects from Social Science and Arts. An O’level Pass in Mathematics is acceptable

3. MICROBIOLOGY At least 2 A’ level passes in Biology, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry or Physics.Credit passes in NCE and OND in addition to 5 credits at SSCE (or its equivalent). Five credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics English Language, Biology, Chemistry and any other Science Subject.
4. PHYSICS Two A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics Five (5) O’ level credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent) to include English Language, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. English Language, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
5. COMPUTER SCIENCE Two A’ level passes in science subjects including Mathematics. OR NCE with at least merit in Mathematics and one other Science or Social Science subject. Five (5) O’ level credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent) to include English Language, Mathematics, Physics plus two other Science Subjects. English Language, Mathematics, Physics and one of Biology, Chemistry, Agric Science, Economics and Geography.

Five ‘O’ level credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Mathematics and English plus any other Science subject. PAY a sum of N5,500 at through E-tranzact of use the online payment option on the application portal.

GO TO undergraduate admission page (https://augustineuniversity.edu.ng/application/), locate ‘New Application’ section and then fill all the required fields. Click “Sign Up” button when done.

CHECK your email address for a confirmation message and your application number which will be needed to login into your Personal AUI Account (Please check your spam box if it’s NOT in your inbox)
