Clifford University (CLU) post UTME screening exercise application form for the 2022/2023 academic session is now on sale.



Application is hereby invited into various degree programmes of Clifford University Owerrinta, Abia State for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

Candidates who scored 130 and above in 2022 UTME but did not choose Clifford university as their first choice of institution are also eligible to apply.

CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS STUDIES Two ‘A’ level passes in Christian Religious Studies/Religious Studies and any other Arts subject. Five credit passes in English Language, CRK and three other relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Christian Religious Knowledge and any other two related Arts subjects Candidates require at least a Credit in Mathematics
ENGLISH LANGUAGE i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Literature in English and one other Arts subject.ii) NCE (Merit grade) in English Languageiii) OND in relevant field not below Upper credit gradeiv) HND in relevant field not below Lower Credit grade Five credit passes in Literature in English and English Language, one other Arts subject and any other two or three subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Sciences at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Literature in English, one other Arts subject and another Arts or Social Science subject. Candidates require at least a Credit in Mathematics

HISTORY AND DIPLOMATIC STUDIES i) Two 'A' level passes in History and Governmentii) NCE (credit) in History, Government and any other related subject.iii) OND (Upper Credit) in relevant disciplines. Five credit passes in English Language, Geography, Government/History and any two Arts or Social Science subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations English Language, History or Government and any other two subjects from Arts & Social Science. Candidates require at least a Credit in Mathematics

ACCOUNTING i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Mathematics and Geography.ii) OND in Accounting with Upper Credit in addition to the UTME Requirementiii) HND in Accounting or equivalent with at least Lower Credit in addition to the UTME Requirementiv) Final Certificate of recognized Professional bodies in addition to the UTME Requirements Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English language, Mathematics, Economics plus any related Arts or Social Science subject.
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statisticsii) OND with Upper Credit in Business Administration or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirementiii) HND with at least Lower Credit in Business Administration or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirementiv) Final Certificate of recognized Professional bodies in addition to the UTME Requirements Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any related Arts or Social Science subject.
PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION Two 'A' level passes in Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography and Statistics. Five credit passes in English Language, Economics, Government, and a trade subject at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. Government, Economics and any other subject Direct entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
ECONOMICS Two ‘A’ level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.ii) OND with Upper Credit in Economics or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirementiii) HND with at least Lower Credit in Economics or relevant disciplines in addition to the UTME Requirement.iv) Final Certificate of recognized Professional bodies in addition to the UTME Requirements Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations English Language, Economics, Mathematics and any other related subject
BANKING AND FINANCE Two 'A' level passes in Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics Five credit passes in English, Mathematics, Economics, one Science Subject plus any one from Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government, Geography and Statistics at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. Mathematics, Economics and one other subject Direct entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
MARKETING Two 'A' level passes in Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics Five credit passes in English, Mathematics, Economics, one Science Subject plus any one from Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government, Geography and Statistics at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. Mathematics, Economics and one other subject Direct entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
POLITICAL SCIENCE Two 'A' level passes including Government or History. Five credit passes in Government or History, English Language and three other subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations and at least a pass in Mathematics. English Language, Government or History plus two other related Social Science/Arts subjects.
MASS COMMUNICATION Two 'A' level passes in Literature in English and one other arts subjects Five credit passes in English Language, one Science Subject, Mathematics and Literature in English at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. Literature in English, one other Arts subject and another Arts or Social Science subject. Direct entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements.
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS Two 'A' level passes in Government and History Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, one Science Subject, Government or History and two other subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. Government or History plus two other Social Science/Arts subjects. Direct entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements

BIOLOGY Two ‘A’ level passes in Botany, Zoology, Biology or Chemistry.(ii) ND/NCE in related fields. Five credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and any other related Science subject at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations English Language, Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics. Direct Entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
MICROBIOLOGY i) Two ‘A’ Level passes not below Grade C in Chemistry and one of Physics or Biology.ii) ND/HND (Upper Credit) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology, Physics and Geology Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics Direct Entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements.
CHEMISTRY i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and any one of Physics, Mathematics or Biology.ii) ND/NCE with good grades in relevant ‘O’ level subjects. Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Chemistry and any two of Physics, Biology and Mathematics Direct Entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
BIOCHEMISTRY i) Two ‘A’ level passes not below Grade C in Chemistry and Biology.ii) ND/HND in related field plus UTME requirement. Five credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics Direct Entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements.
INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY Two 'A' level passes in ChemistryAnd any one of Physics, Mathematics, or Biology Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. Chemistry and two of Physics, Biology and Mathematics Direct entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
MATHEMATICS i) Two ‘A’ level passes not below Grade C in Mathematics and Physics.(ii) NCE passes at merit level in Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistryiii) OND/HND (Upper credit) in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and at least three of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Further Mathematics at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and either Chemistry or Geography Direct Entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
COMPUTER SCIENCE i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Science subjects including Mathematicsii) NCE with at least Merit in Mathematics and one other Science or Social Science subject. Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other Science subject at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations English Language, Mathematics, Physics and either Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Economics or Geography. Direct Entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
CYBER SECURITY Two 'A' level passes in Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics. Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Physics and any other two relevant Science subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics Direct entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
INFORMATION SYSTEM Two 'A' level passes in Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Physics and any other two relevant science subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics Direct entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Two 'A' level passes in Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics Five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Physics and any other two relevant science subjects at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics Direct entry candidates must in addition meet the UTME ‘O’ Level requirements
PHYSICS i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry.ii) ND/HND (Upper credit) in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics and Geology Five credit passes in English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and any other Science subject (Further mathematics and Biology or Agricultural Science) at not more than two sittings in GCE, SSCE or equivalent examinations. NURSING SCIENCE (B.NSc.)   • Visit the University admission portal: www.clifforduni.edu.ng
  • Click on https://clifforduni.edu.ng/oas
  • Click on “Create New Account”
  • Enter your JAMB Registration Number and other details
  • Choose your Username and Password
  • Proceed with the completion of the form
  • Correctly enter your JAMB Score, Personal details and O’Level results
  • Select your first and second choice of course within the institution
  • Select the declaration box appropriately
  • Submit your application
  • Print out your acknowledgement slip
  • Await further communication from the University


FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
  • Kindly ensure that your academic transcript reaches the Registrar, Clifford University, Owerrinta on time.
  • Any candidate who fails to submit his/her academic transcript would not be considered for admission.


DURATION OF THE APTITUDE TEST
  • The specific time and date for the individual candidate would be communicated in due course


Any candidate who fails to successfully submit his application online would automatically lose his/her chance of being considered for admission.
