Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME and meet the admission requirements can now apply for admission into the university's various undergraduate programmes.

Dennis Osadebay University (DOU), Asaba, a Delta State Government-owned institution, has officially commenced its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry admission exercise for suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate degree programmes.

The university has invited candidates who selected DOU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored at least 150 to apply. Candidates who did not initially choose the university but wish to study at DOU can also apply after processing a Change of Institution through JAMB.

Eligibility Requirements


To be eligible for admission, candidates must:

• Score at least 150 in the 2026 UTME.

• Choose Dennis Osadebay University as First Choice Institution.

• Possess a minimum of five (5) O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics.

• Obtain the required O'Level credits in not more than two sittings.

• Meet all JAMB admission requirements.

Candidates who did not choose DOU as their first choice but wish to gain admission into the institution are required to process a Change of Institution through JAMB before applying.



Direct Entry Requirements


OND/HND Candidates

• Must possess at least Lower Credit from recognized institutions.

NCE Candidates

• Must possess Merit grades in relevant subjects.

JUPEB/IJMB Candidates

• Must have a minimum of four (4) points obtained from at least two relevant subjects.
