Eligibility Requirements for Ekiti State Government Scholarship
To be eligible for the Ekiti State Government Scholarship and Bursary, applicants must meet the following conditions:
A: SCHOLARSHIP
- Must be in at least their second year of study at a tertiary institution.
- Must have a minimum of five credits (including English and Mathematics) in WASSCE or NECO.
- University students should have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 or Second Class Upper; Polytechnic students should have a CGPA of 3.5.
- Master’s and PhD applicants must have a minimum of Second Class Upper for their Bachelor’s degree. PhD applicants must also have a distinction in their Master’s program.
- Physically challenged students in tertiary institutions are also eligible for the Handicapped Scholarship.
- Part-time and Sandwich students are not eligible.
- All undergraduates and students from Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Nursing/Midwifery, and Colleges of Health Technology are eligible.
