- Be a citizen of one of the eligible ECOWAS member states (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, or Togo).
- Hold a Bachelor's degree (minimum Second Class Upper Division or equivalent) in a relevant field.
