JAMB Continues Free UTME for Candidates with Disabilities—With Stricter Verification!

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reaffirmed its commitment to providing free UTME application forms for candidates with disabilities, as long as they have five O’Level credits.
Since its launch in 2024, this initiative has significantly increased the number of students with disabilities in tertiary institutions, ensuring equal access to education.

However, to prevent abuse of the system, JAMB has introduced stricter verification measures:
✅ Candidates must undergo a verification process to confirm their disability status before receiving the free form.
✅ UTME registration fees will be refunded only after successful verification to prevent impersonation or misuse of the policy.

JAMB remains committed to ensuring that all candidates, regardless of physical challenges, have a fair opportunity to pursue higher education.
