Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the full details for the 2026/2027 Indigeneship Verification Exercise (IIVE). Candidates of Lagos State origin who chose LASU as first choice and scored at least 195 in UTME are eligible to participate.

Lagos State University (LASU) has officially released important details regarding the Indigeneship Verification Exercise (IIVE) for the 2026/2027 admission process.
Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates who meet the following requirements are eligible:
- Must be of Lagos State origin
- Must have chosen LASU as first choice in UTME
- Must have scored a minimum of 195 in the 2026 UTME
Note: Participation in the Indigeneship Verification Exercise does not guarantee admission.
IIVE Screening Schedule
The exercise will be conducted in phases:
Phase 1: Monday, 27th April – Thursday, 30th April 2026
Phase 2: Monday, 4th May – Thursday, 7th May 2026
Phase 3: Monday, 11th May – Thursday, 14th May 2026
Phase 4: Monday, 18th May – Friday, 22nd May 2026

Important Information
- All eligible candidates must be cleared by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) before they can be considered for admission.
- Direct Entry candidates who are Lagos State indigenes are also required to participate in this exercise.
- Candidates from previous sessions (2024/2025 and 2025/2026) who were not admitted are to revalidate their Indigeneship Clearance Certificates online via the LASU portal (with payment).
Registration Details
Portal Opens: Monday, 27th April 2026
Registration Closes: Friday, 22nd May 2026
Candidates are advised to complete their registration within the stipulated period via the official LASU website.
