The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship is the University of Toronto’s most prestigious and competitive undergraduate scholarship for international students. University of Toronto Mastercard Scholarships Eligibility

• An international student (i.e. a non-Canadian requiring a study permit);
• Currently in your final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2025
• Beginning your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2026 (students already attending post-secondary studies cannot be considered; students starting their studies in January 2026 at another post-secondary institution cannot be considered).

University of Toronto Mastercard Scholarships Duration and Rewards

• The scholarship program is intended to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity and who are recognized as leaders within their school.
• The University of Toronto Scholarship (Lester B. Pearson Award) will cover tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for the four years or your entire undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto.

How to Apply for University of Toronto Mastercard Scholarships

• Step 1: Get nominated by your school. Schools new to the program can apply starting in September.
• Step 2: Apply to the University of Toronto for September 2025 entry and complete all admission steps by the deadlines. Only your first-choice program will be considered for the scholarship.
• Step 3: After your nomination and U of T application, you’ll receive a private link to complete the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application.
