This initiative is designed for Nigerian media practitioners, including journalists, bloggers, and content creators, aiming to enhance their skills and understanding of the rapidly evolving media landscape.

Eligibility Requirements for MTN Media Internship Program

To qualify for the MTN Media

• Must be a media professional/practitioner
• Must have a valid International Passport
• Must pass a written test and any subsequent interviews
• Must get a written release from employers to participate in the programme

• The six-month, fully funded fellowship for Nigerian media practitioners is designed to support the sustainable development of the nation’s changing media scene.
• The program is open to media practitioners across the spectrum, including print, electronic, online platforms and social media content creators.

Programme Structure for MTN Media Innovation Program

• 70 Days in Class
• All accepted candidates will spend 33 days in class in the course of the training.
• 19 Days on campus
• 5 Days off campus
• 7 Days in South Africa
• An all-expense-paid trip to South Africa for a 7-day training.
• 2 days in MTN Nigeria Headquarters
  Candidates will be tutored at the MTN Nigeria Headquarters and the MTN Group Headquarters.
• 1 Industry Visits and Tours
  A one-day training at the Innovation Hub.
• 1 Day in nature
• 1 Day comprehensive capstone
