University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Ilorin, has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its Postgraduate Nursing Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Master in Nursing Science programme with various specializations.

Master in Nursing Science with Specializations in:

- Accident and Emergency Nursing
- Nephrology Nursing
- Ophthalmic Nursing
- Paediatric Nursing


General Admission Requirements

Applicants seeking admission into the postgraduate nursing programmes must possess:

- A minimum of five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings for WAEC or NECO.
- NABTEB results must be obtained in one sitting only.


Additional Requirements

Applicants seeking admission into the Master's Degree programme must also possess:

- A minimum of Second Class Lower Division in Bachelor of Nursing Science.
- Academic transcript forwarded directly from previous institution to the Office of the College Secretary, UITH Schools’ Complex, Amilegbe, Ilorin.
- Three referees.
- NYSC Exemption, Exclusion, or Discharge Certificate.
- Council Certificate in any of the specialization areas where available.



Programme Duration

- Minimum Duration: Three (3) Semesters
- Maximum Duration: Six (6) Semesters

Candidates are required to complete the online application form and make payment through the Remita platform into the UITH General Purpose Account.

Payment Procedure

1. Visit:
remita.net

2. Click on:
Pay FGN and State TSA

3. Select:
Federal Government of Nigeria

4. Type:
University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital

5. Select:
UITH GENERAL PURPOSE on Name of Service/Purpose

6. Fill in the required details and complete payment.

7. Submit payment receipt to the Bursary Unit for verification.


Important Notice


- Cash payments are not allowed.
- Transfer to personal accounts is not accepted.
- All uploaded documents and information must be correctly supplied.
- Applicants must upload scanned copies of certificates, referees, Remita receipt, and other required documents.
- Sponsor signature must be uploaded in jpeg, png, or jpg format.
- Applicants are required to upload three typed and scanned referees with official letterheaded paper.

Application Process After Payment
- Proceed with online registration using the generated Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number.
- Enter a valid personal email address.
- A confirmation link will be sent to the registered email address.
- Open the confirmation link to access the application form.
- Fill all required fields correctly.
- Submit and print the completed application form.

Candidates are advised to print their completed application form and bring it along on the day of examination or interview.
