- Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or postgraduate program as a new international student.
- Conditional or unconditional offer of place from the University of Waikato.
- Minimum GPA equivalency of B+ in the qualification used for University of Waikato entrance.
- Not currently enrolled at the University, not coming via a sponsoring body, and not on a Guaranteed Credit Arrangement.
