About WIPO Young Experts Program

The WIPO Young Experts Program (YEP) is a two-year, fully funded initiative designed to develop the next generation of global IP leaders. Hosted in Geneva, Switzerland, the program offers young professionals hands-on experience in intellectual property, innovation, and creativity. YEP provides training, mentorship, and a monthly stipend of CHF 5,000, making it a unique opportunity to build a meaningful career in international IP policy and development.

WIPO Young Experts Program Benefits

WIPO Young Experts Program Eligibility

• Max 35 years old at the time application is submitted
• Available for 24 months for 2026 – 2027
• A University degree
• At least 2 years relevant experience
• Excellent analytical, research & organizational skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Excellent written & spoken English
• Knowledge of, or experience in IP, innovation or creativity
