About African Union Youth Startup Programme
The African Union Youth Startup Program 2025 is a fully funded initiative designed to empower young African entrepreneurs by providing a platform to showcase innovative startups addressing critical challenges in health, education, and food security. Selected startups will participate in the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) scheduled for September 4-10, 2025, in Algiers, Algeria. The program offers a fully sponsored exhibition booth, travel and accommodation coverage, access to mentorship and training, and invaluable networking opportunities with investors, policymakers, and business leaders across the continent. African Union Youth Startup Programme Eligibility
- be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application.
- Be a citizen of an AU member state or part of the African diaspora.
- Own or co-own a registered startup, or have a working prototype solving health, education, and Food security challenges in Africa.
- Be available on the dates of the IATF.
- Show clear interest in innovation, sustainability, or economic development.
How to Apply for African Union Youth Startup Program
- Prepare your details: a business summary (max 500 words), proof of company registration, a PowerPoint pitch deck or product visuals, and a 2-minute video presentation describing your startup.
- Complete the application form using the provided link, ensuring all information is accurate.
- Submit your application by 30 May 2025, 23:59 EAT. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Selected applicants will be notified by 31 July 2025 via email.
