The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Ondo State, has officially commenced its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate degree programmes.
The university has advised all prospective candidates to carefully review the eligibility requirements and admission guidelines before proceeding with their applications.

Eligibility Requirements
• Candidates must not be less than 16 years old by 30th September, 2026.
• Candidates must correctly upload their O'Level results on the FUTA admission portal.
• A maximum of two sittings is allowed for O'Level requirements.
• FUTA accepts WAEC, NECO and NABTEB results or their equivalents.
• Candidates who did not meet the required UTME subject combination for their chosen course are advised to effect the necessary changes through JAMB CAPS.

• Candidates must upload their O'Level results on JAMB CAPS on or before 2nd July, 2026.
• Failure to upload O'Level results on JAMB CAPS before the deadline will render affected candidates ineligible for admission.
• Application deadline is July 3rd, 2026

• Candidates are advised to use their UTME Registration Number as their username during account creation.
• Applicants should ensure all information supplied during registration is accurate and verifiable.
• Candidates should regularly monitor their email, SMS notifications and the university portal for admission updates.
Application Procedure
1. Visit the FUTA admission portal.
2. Create an account using your UTME Registration Number as username.
3. Select your preferred parent programme.
4. Select your preferred main programme.
5. Create a password and provide a valid email address and phone number.
6. Submit your details to create your account.
7. Login to your account.
8. Make the required payment online.
9. Complete the application form and upload the necessary documents.
10. Print your Admission Application Acknowledgement Slip.
11. Await further instructions regarding admission through SMS, email or the admission portal.
