Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for admission into its various undergraduate programmes.

According to the university management, the admission portal opened on Monday, 15th June, 2026 and registration will close on Sunday, 12th July, 2026.

Candidates who selected LAUTECH as their first-choice institution and scored at least 170 in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply. Candidates who did not initially choose LAUTECH but are willing to change to the institution as their first choice may also apply.

Eligibility Requirements

• Candidates must score a minimum of 170 in the 2026 UTME.

• Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30th September, 2026.

• Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant O'Level subjects obtained at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.

• Candidates applying through Direct Entry must possess a University Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower, Upper Credit in ND, RNS, NCE with at least Merit, Lower Credit in HND, or JUPEB qualification alongside the required O'Level credits.

• Candidates seeking admission into Medicine, Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science must obtain their five relevant O'Level credits in one sitting only.

• Candidates must upload their O'Level results to JAMB CAPS before 2nd August, 2026.



Important Admission Notes

• Candidates awaiting WAEC, NECO or NABTEB results may apply but must upload their results on JAMB CAPS on or before 26th June, 2026.

• Admission will be based on 80% UTME score and 20% O'Level grades.

• Any inconsistency in names, age or state of origin may result in disqualification.

• Candidates who fail to accept admission on JAMB CAPS within four weeks of upload risk forfeiting the admission.

• Candidates found to have supplied false information will have their admission withdrawn and may be prosecuted.


Registration Procedure
1. Visit the admission portal: eportal.lautech.edu.ng

2. Make payment of the non-refundable registration fee of ₦2,000 and portal access fee of ₦5,000 using an Interswitch-enabled debit card.

3. Complete and submit the online application form.

4. Upload a clear digital passport photograph with white background in JPEG format not exceeding 20KB.

5. Review programme requirements, O'Level requirements and UTME subject combinations before submitting your application.


Direct Entry Candidates

• Direct Entry applicants must obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form.

• Academic transcripts must be forwarded to:

• Transcripts must reach the university not later than one week before the screening date.

• Oral and written interviews for Direct Entry candidates will be conducted on a date to be announced by the university.
