About 2025 Islamic Development Bank Scholarship
The 2025 Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarship is a fully funded program designed to support students from IsDB member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries. This initiative aims to develop skilled professionals who can contribute to the socio-economic growth of their communities and nations.The scholarship covers undergraduate, master's, PhD, and post-doctoral research programs, with a focus on fields that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Islamic Development Bank Scholarship 2025 Benefits
- Tuition fees, payable to the universities directly.
- Monthly stipend commensurate with the cost of living in the country of study.
- Books/clothing allowance, the equivalent of three months monthly stipends,
- Once a year Cost of medical treatment (either at the university or local state
hospital) - For students who are selected to study abroad, IsDB also provides return economy class tickets to and from the countries of study (once at the beginning and at the end of study) as well as an installation allowance.
2025 Islamic Development Bank Scholarship Eligibility
- Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of an IsDB member country or a Muslim community in a non-member country.
- Academic Performance: Candidates must have a strong academic record and demonstrate excellence in their previous studies.
- Field of Study: Applicants must choose a field aligned with the IsDB's priority areas, such as sustainable agriculture, education, climate change, energy, ICT for development, and health-related fields.
- Admission Requirement: Applicants must have secured admission to a top public or government university in their home country or an IsDB member country.
- Age Limit:
- Undergraduate: Typically below 24 years old
- Master's: Typically below 30 years old
- PhD/Research: Typically below 35 or 40 years old
- Commitment to Community Service: Applicants must show a strong dedication to serving their community and contributing to their country's development.
- No Other Scholarship Holders: Candidates must not be receiving any other scholarship during the same period.
- Female students are strongly encouraged to apply.
