JAMB Rolls Out Weekly Payments to CBT Centres
In a bid to enforce its cashless registration policy and prevent extortion of candidates, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced weekly payments to accredited CBT centres.
Key updates:
- ₦141,306,900 disbursed to CBT centres for UTME registration services in the first week.
- All payments will now be made weekly to ensure transparency and eliminate unauthorized charges
JAMB has also issued a strict directive—CBT centres must adhere to the official pricing policy or face immediate sanctions, including loss of accreditation. With this move, JAMB is ensuring fairness in the registration process while keeping candidates protected from exploitation!
