Lagos State University (LASU) has officially commenced its 2026/2027 Online Admission Screening Exercise for candidates seeking admission through UTME (100 Level) and Direct Entry (200 Level).

The online screening exercise is compulsory for all candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 academic session.

- Opens: Wednesday, 3 June 2026
- Closes: Tuesday, 23 June 2026

Eligible Candidates

- Candidates who chose LASU as their first-choice institution and scored at least 195 in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 1 October 2026.
- LASU Pre-Degree Studies (PDS) candidates who scored at least 195 and selected LASU as first choice.
- Direct Entry candidates who selected LASU as first choice and obtained a Direct Entry form from JAMB.
- LASU JUPEB candidates are eligible.
- Only LASU Diploma qualifications are acceptable for Direct Entry admission, except NCE holders applying into Faculty of Education programmes.

Important Requirements

- Candidates must possess at least five O'Level credit passes relevant to their chosen course.
- Results must not be more than two sittings, except for Medicine and Dentistry which require one sitting.
- Engineering candidates using two sittings must possess six credits including Mathematics, English, Physics and Chemistry.
- Aeronautic and Astronautic Engineering requires a credit pass in Further Mathematics.
- Candidates must upload their O'Level results on JAMB CAPS before the screening closes.
- Any examination taken after July 2026 will not be accepted.

Screening Method

Admission screening will be based on a point grading system using:
- UTME score
- O'Level grades in five relevant subjects
