About African Development Bank

The In-Country YouthADAPT Challenge 2025 is an initiative of the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA), under the Africa Adaptation Acceleration Program (AAAP). It is designed to support youth-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that are developing innovative solutions to address the impacts of climate change. The challenge aims to empower young African entrepreneurs by providing financial support, technical assistance, and business development services, helping them scale climate adaptation solutions that enhance resilience in sectors such as agriculture, water, infrastructure, and food security.
