About AGIF Undergraduate Scholarship

The 2025 AfDB Internship Program offers master's students and recent graduates from AfDB member countries the opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional environment. Internships last between 3 to 6 months and may be conducted remotely or on-site, depending on the needs of the Bank. Interns work in various departments aligned with AfDB’s strategic focus areas and contribute to the Bank’s mission of fostering sustainable development in Africa. This one-time opportunity includes a monthly stipend and medical insurance coverage.





AGIF Undergraduate Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must be a Nigerian.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or about to be enrolled in a Nigerian TERTIARY School.
  • The scholarship is only open for students in Public Universities.
  • Returning students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 and above.
  • Entry-level students must have JAMB score above 220.
  • Youths and adolescents with single parents earning not more than N150,000 monthly and who have more than two siblings.
  • Children with a family size of 3 and above (with all the children currently in school) whose parents earn not more than N150,000 monthly (collectively).



AGIF Undergraduate Scholarship Benefits

  • The Project A500 Scholarship for this year seeks to award 200 tertiary institution students, 200 secondary school students, and 100 primary school students with financial support to fund their education.
