Federal Government TVET Program Eligibility
Short-Term Certificate (STC) Programme- This track is designed for individuals ready to learn a practical skill and enter the workforce quickly.
- Valid National Identification Number (NIN)
- Valid Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- No prior educational qualification required.
- This program is for individuals with some education or informal training experience, looking to deepen and formalize their skills.
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – proof of skills acquired informally or through apprenticeship OR
- First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
OR - Any form of non-formal education certificate (e.g., training from NGOs, religious institutions, nomadic education or community programs)
- For the STC Programme, you need a valid National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- For the VEI Programme, you need either Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC), or any form of non-formal education certificate.
