The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, now transitioning to the Federal University of Technology, Ilaro, has announced the commencement of admissions into its National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Part-Time and Open Distance & Flexible E-Learning (ODFEL) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. This admission exercise will serve as the final admission exercise under the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro before the institution fully operates as a university.

The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, has officially announced admissions into its National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Part-Time and Open Distance & Flexible E-Learning (ODFEL) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the institution, this will be the last admission exercise conducted under the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro following its transition to the Federal University of Technology, Ilaro.

150
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must choose Federal Polytechnic Ilaro as first choice institution or change to the institution as first choice.
• Must score at least 150 in the 2026 UTME.
• Must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026.
• International candidates and physically challenged candidates are exempted from the screening exercise.

Important Notice:
HND Weekend graduates are not eligible for NYSC but will receive NYSC Exclusion Certificates.

• Applicants must complete JAMB Part-Time/Distance Learning Registration.
• NIN is compulsory.
