Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for admission into its various undergraduate degree programmes.

According to the university management, online registration commenced on Monday, 25th May, 2026 and will close on Tuesday, 30th June, 2026. Candidates who selected AE-FUNAI as their first-choice institution and scored at least 150 in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply.

Candidates who did not initially choose AE-FUNAI but wish to gain admission into the university can also apply after effecting a Change of Institution through JAMB on or before the application deadline.

Eligibility Requirements


• Candidates must have scored at least 150 in the 2026 UTME.

• Candidates must choose AE-FUNAI as their First Choice Institution.

• Candidates who did not choose AE-FUNAI can apply after processing a Change of Institution through JAMB.

• Direct Entry candidates are also eligible after changing institution to AE-FUNAI where necessary.

• Candidates must upload their O'Level and Direct Entry results on JAMB CAPS on or before 30th June, 2026.

• Candidates must satisfy the UTME and O'Level requirements for their chosen course.

Important Admission Requirements

• Candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery, Law, Nursing Science and Medical Laboratory Science must obtain their O'Level results in one sitting only.

• Candidates must ensure that all information supplied during registration is correct.

• Any candidate found to have supplied false information will be automatically disqualified.

• Screening will be based on internal evaluation of candidates' credentials and uploaded results.



Registration Procedure


1. Visit: www.funai.edu.ng

2. Click on Admissions.

3. Select Apply Now.

4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.

5. Provide a valid email address and phone number.

6. Verify your email using the OTP sent to your email address.

7. Pay the application fee of ₦2,000.

8. Complete the registration process and submit.

9. Check your email for registration acknowledgement.

Candidates who wish to register physically may visit:

• University CBT Centre, Zone A, AE-FUNAI Campus.

OR

• Centre for Educational Services (JUPEB/Pre-Degree School), Aguogboriga Estate, Abakaliki.



Application Deadline

Tuesday, 30th June, 2026

Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline and ensure that their O'Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS.
