Osaka University MEXT Scholarship Eligibility
- Must be a non-Japanese citizen from a country with diplomatic ties to Japan
- Age: Generally under 35 years for graduate programs
- Academic background:
12 years of schooling for undergraduate, Bachelor’s degree for Master’s, Master’s degree for PhD - Strong academic record and research proposal (for graduates)
- Language proficiency: TOEFL/IELTS for English programs or JLPT for Japanese
- Must be in good health and not currently enrolled in a Japanese university as a privately funded student
