University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Ilorin, has commenced admission into its Full-Time Post Basic Nursing Diploma Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the various Post Basic Nursing programmes available at the institution.

Admission Requirements

Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess WAEC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB results.
- Candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes obtained at not more than two sittings.
- Required subjects include:
English Language
Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Biology

Professional Qualification and Experience
- Applicants must be Registered Nurses duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Applicants must possess at least one (1) year post-registration clinical or working experience in the relevant specialty area.

Duration of Programme

- The programme duration is 12 calendar months.
- Programme commencement begins from November 2026.

Accommodation

- Limited accommodation is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Foreign applicants are expected to pay the dollar equivalent.

Application Process After Payment
- Proceed with registration using the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number generated after payment.
- Enter a valid personal email address.
- A confirmation link will be sent to the registered email.
- Open the link sent from noreply@uithilorin.
- Complete the online SPBN application form.
- Select your preferred school from the dropdown menu.
- Upload all required documents correctly.

Important Upload Requirements
- Sponsor signature must be uploaded in jpeg, png, or jpg format.
- Candidates are required to upload three typed and scanned referees on official letterheaded paper.
- All information and uploads must be correctly supplied before submission.

Candidates are advised to print their completed application form after submission and present it during examination or interview.

Closing Date

- All completed application forms must reach the Office of the College Secretary, UITH Schools Complex, Ilorin on or before 31st July, 2026.
