Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the National Diploma (ND) Programme in Orthopaedic Cast Technology.

Admission Requirements

Applicants seeking admission into the ND programme must possess:

- Five (5) O’Level credit passes in WAEC, SSCE, NECO, or GCE obtained at not more than two sittings.
- NABTEB is accepted in one sitting only.

Required subjects include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology or Health Science

Plus any two of the following:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Food and Nutrition
- Home Management
- Agricultural Science
- Geography
- Technical Drawing


Additional Requirements
- Applicants must have participated in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates who did not initially choose the school must carry out Change of Institution and Course to School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old before applying.
- Applicants who will not be 16 years old by 31st September 2026 will not be considered.
- Only candidates who selected School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital as First Choice will be considered.
- Candidates must present original JAMB result slip and Change of Institution or Course printout during screening.

Entrance Examination and Interview

- Dates for entrance examination and interview will be communicated later.

Other Relevant Information
- Late submission of forms will not be entertained.
- Candidates with unclear passport photographs will not be admitted for screening.
- Candidates who fail to appear for screening as scheduled will not be considered for admission.
- Applicants must come with their application slip and writing materials.
- GSM phones and electronic devices are prohibited during the screening exercise.
- All photocopies of documents must be clear and legible.
- Evidence of change of name where applicable must be attached.
- Screening results will be published on the UITH website and school notice boards.

Application Process After Payment

- Proceed with online registration using the generated Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number.
- Enter a valid personal email address.
- A confirmation link will be sent to the registered email address.
- Open the link sent from noreply@uithilorin.
- Complete and submit the online SOCT application form.
- Upload all required documents correctly.

Important Upload Requirement
- Sponsor signature must be uploaded in jpeg, png, or jpg format where applicable.

Candidates are advised to print their completed application form after submission and present it during examination or interview.
